Lower downrigger weight to desired depth. Cast lure to desired trolling distance and run fishing line through SEP'S Sure Release. Lower Simply Trollin' to surface of water, maintaining slight tension on fishing line and allow Simply Trollin' to travel down cable to downrigger weight. When tension is removed by a fish strike or manual trip, the force of water gets underneath Simply Trollin' and pushes the unit to the surface.

You can now attach fishing line and send it back down without ever having to raise your downrigger weight!
